Geophysics Seminar

Approximately every week during the semester we arrange a geophysics seminar where the PhDs, professors and the supervisors in the Geophysics group at the Department present what they are currently working on. The aim for these seminars is to create a sphere where the researchers can discuss their research areas, and get input and discussions contributing to further research.

The seminars are arranged as follows: each speaker is given 30 minutes which should be used to give an informal introduction to the research topic, where possible problems and further research are discussed. The introduction should not last for more than 20 minutes. The remaining minutes may be used for questions and discussions from the participants on the seminar.

Venue: Meeting room 162, the Petroleum Technology Center, NTNU, Fridays 11:30-12:30.

We emphasize that these seminars are open to the public, and that the researchers choose the topics for the seminars themselves. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the administrator of the seminars.
