Start SSL (Schlumberger Simulation Launcher)
Select Intersect in left menu, add datafile and run
Note: Eclipse input files (.DATA) must be converted to Intersect (.afi) files.
To convert: Select Migrator in left menu, add a .DATA dataset and run.

IGV students can download and install Intersect, follow these instructions.

Installed on petra and seis.

Copy example case to your directory:
cp /opt/ecl/2016.2/ix/Examples/Example_2/IX* .
Convert from Eclipse to Intersect format (xx.DATA to xx.afi):
eclrun ecl2ix IX
Start simulation:
eclrun ix IX

Speed up simulation by using more cores/cpu's:
eclrun –np=4 ix IX
Will typically reduce prosessing time by 50%, selecting more than the number of cores available will increase prosessing time
