Information on Software and Computers at IGP
A user profile is a collection of folders and data that stores the user's current desktop environment and application settings as well as personal data. Everything on the Desktop and in My Documents will be in your profile. These data is stored on a profile server and will be transferred to your local PC every time you log on, i.e. if you store much data here, it will take a long time to log on and off. You should therefore store your data on Pets (W:-drive) or Sambastud (M:).
