==== Hongbo Zhou ====
**Friday September 7th 2012** Hongbo Zhou will give two lectures in seismic inversion and imaging. Hongbo Zhou is Head of Exploration Research in Statoil Gulf Serives, Houston, Texas. He holds a M.S. degree in Computational Mathematics, and a Ph.D. in Geosciences. His research interest is in seismic depth imaging and high performance computing.

In addition, Prof. Børge Arntsen and Prof. Bjørn Ursin will give talks on seismic inversion.

**10:15-10:35**: Imaging challenges in the Gulf of Mexico and the development of reverse time migration, by Hongbo Zhou\\
**10:45-11:15**: Full waveform inversion, by Hongbo Zhou\\
**11:20-11:40**: Full waveform inversion in the image and data spaces, by Børge Arntsen\\
**11:40-12:00**: Nonlinear seismic waveform inversion using a Born iterative T-matrix method, by Bjørn Ursin
