Group 1 - Gullfaks area I1
Create a new reservoir simulation model using Petrel:
  • Interpret seismics (horizons/faults).
  • Create a new simulation model with Petrel.
  • Simulate and compare results to the original model.
  • Analyse differences.

    Group 2 - Gullfaks area K1/K2
    Simulation and DIACS:
  • A new well was drilled to the eastern part in 2004.
  • 1 km of reservoir is drilled through.
  • DIACS is used for coproduction of different layers in the Statfjord formation.
  • A simulation model was built and history matched for K1/K2 areas.
  • The model was used to evaluate DIACS completion in well PCSK25.
  • Task: use the model to evaluate DIACS in well target PCSK25 which is a long reach well.
