ATTENTION:

In order to use/configure GCL some knowledge of Unix/Linux, and some 
knowledge of your hardware is required.

You don't have to configure a lot of things.
Only your internet connection, mouse, E-mail and the X windows system.
But when you are a complete newbie, you may find it difficult.

But first the installation, wich is easy.

if you install from a harddisk make sure that the following files are
in C:\:

linux.rar
linux.r01
linux.r02
linux.r03
linux.r04
linux.r05
linux.r06
linux.r07
unrar.exe

And make sure that C:\linux does not exist.

Execute hdinst.bat

if you install from floppies make sure that you have the following
files on floppy:

linux.rar
linux.r01
linux.r02
linux.r03
linux.r04
linux.r05
linux.r06
linux.r07

Make sure C:\linux does not exist.

And make sure that unrar.exe is in C:\

Execute flopinst.bat.

After installation boot in real DOS mode
cd to C:\linux
and execute linux.bat

That's it!
