===== Geophysics Seminar =====
Approximately every week during the semester we arrange a geophysics seminar where the PhDs, professors and the supervisors in the Geophysics group at the Department present what they are currently working on. The aim for these seminars is to create a sphere where the researchers can discuss their research areas, and get input and discussions contributing to further research.
The seminars are arranged as follows: each speaker is given //30 minutes// which should be used to give an informal introduction to the research topic, where possible problems and further research are discussed. The introduction should not last for more than //20 minutes//. The remaining minutes may be used for questions and discussions from the participants on the seminar.
**Venue:** Meeting room 162, the [[http://www.ntnu.no/kart/index.php?id=6955&L=2|Petroleum Technology Center]], NTNU, **Fridays 11:30-12:30**.
