3.3 Integrated Planning

Objectives and goals for the sub project
The goal of Integrated Planning (IPL) is to optimize the coordination of activities and resources in an asset to ensure that HSE and production is kept at a best possible level all the time. Traditionally, the various domains of an asset, such as reservoir management, drilling, operations and maintenance, all have their separate activity and resource plans specific for their domain. IPL aims to join together the different disciplinary or domain-specific activity plans into one general plan in order to optimize the use of common resources like logistic support and maintenance expertise.

The IPL project has identified four organisational capabilities that are important in order to implement integrated planning successfully. These organizational capabilities are regarded as development paths for acquiring certain skills or competences and are described as organizational learning, communicative capabilities, agility & resilience, and mindfulness.
