ansatte og studenter
Torsdag 27.3 kl. 1000 gikk
Hurtigruta fra kai i Trondheim, med 55 ansatte og studenter ved Instituttet
om bord. Fredag kl. 1430 gikk båten
til kai i Bergen, og etter noen timers opphold i Bergen, tok vi fly tilbake
til Trondheim. Instituttet fyller 30 år
i 2003, og formålet med reisen var å avholde et seminar hvor vi så tilbake på de 30
årene, og for å diskutere hvor
vi skal gå de neste 30 årene. Med på turen hadde vi to
inspirerende foredragsholdere, Rolf Wiborg fra Olje-direktorated, og Jan Erik
Kittelsen fra BP, som presenterte sine synspunkt på utviklingen innen leting
og utvinnig i årene framover. Såvel doktorkandidatene som sivilingeniør-studentene presenterte sine synspunkt på instituttets virksomhet, innen såvel forskning og undervisning og med hensyn til mer praktiske ting i det daglige liv. Etter en presentasjon av
litt statistikk over instituttet virksomhet, ble deltakerne delt inn i
grupper, som la fram forslag til tiltak |
The Department
arranged a seminar on
Hurtigruta for staff
and students
On Thursday March 27 at
1000 the coastal steamer
Hurtigruta left
Trondheim. On board were 55 persons from the department. Friday at 1430 the
ship arrived Bergen, and following a few hours in Bergen, we flew back to
Trondheim. The Department is 30
years old in 2003 and the purpose of the trip was to conduct a seminar for
staff and students for a brief analysis of the history and a discussion of
where we are heading for the next 30 years. With us on the trip were
two inspiring lecturers, Rolf
Wiborg from NPD and Jan Erik Kittelsen from BP. They presented their views on
the developments within exploration and production for the years ahead. Doctor students and
sivilingeniør students gave their views on the activities in the Department,
including research and teaching as well as on more practical aspects of daily
life. Following a brief
statistical presentation the Department, the participants were divided into
groups that presented
suggestions for the years ahead. |
